We're genuinely excited about blade painting because we believe that we've created a truly original decorative technique. Like the best of decorative ideas, it comes from the humble artist and in this case, use of the pallet knife.
We've adapted the technique of applying paint with a blade rather than with a brush and developed it into a highly durable and versatile paint system.
Blade painting creates a stunning broken tonal patina. This finish makes it ideal for high traffic areas for commercial use, hotels and country houses, because it disguises small scuff marks and blemishes. It's a wonderful way of creating feature walls that really catch the eye in the contemporary interior.
Visually, blade painting has the effect and feel of polished plaster -but with a more compact texture. It has the added advantage of of virtually limitless colour and tonal combinations, including a whole range of metallic and pearlescent finishes to complement an existing or newly - designed interior scheme.
It really is something that has to be seen (and indeed touched!) to be believed. If you would like to see a sample, please get in touch.
